The Tokyo Venture Company Championship 2024 is a pitch contest held under the concept of “Fostering unicorn companies from Tokyo,” organized by the Tokyo Unicorn Project Steering Committee with support from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Cabinet Office. The competition was divided into two divisions: the ‘Unicorn Division’ and the ‘Chickorn Division,’ with the final round taking place on March 12, 2025 (Wednesday).

During the final round, CEO Masahiro Suemitsu took the stage. He discussed challenges such as the increased energy consumption of buildings caused by global warming, and the deteriorating economic efficiency in livestock farming and fisheries, highlighting the solution offered by the radiative cooling material “SPACECOOL,” which enables zero-energy cooling. He also presented on its market potential and future development.

In the subsequent round, we believe that winning the “Tokyo Governor’s Award” for best performance reflects the recognition of our potential for global expansion. We will continue to expand our business to address heat-related challenges around the world and contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.
