Innovative Climate-Tech Material “SPACECOOL” Showcased at COP30 Japan Pavilion: Introducing Collaboration Cases with Overseas Partners in Hot Climate Regions From building energy savings to umbrellas and tents, radiative cooling technology contributes to global solutions in both mitigation and adaptation.
SPACECOOL INC., which develops and markets the radiative cooling material SPACECOOL that enables zero-energy cooling, is pleased to announce its participation in the “Japan Pavilion” organized by the Ministry of the Environment at the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30), to be held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10, 2025.
SPACECOOL is a radiative cooling material that achieves zero-energy cooling by releasing heat into outer space. At the exhibition booth, we will showcase use cases not only in reducing building air-conditioning energy consumption, but also in adaptation measures for extreme heat, such as applications in tents and parasols.
The booth will also highlight achievements in regions where deployment is already underway, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Southeast Asia, further accelerating our contribution to global decarbonization and climate change countermeasures.

Significance of Exhibiting at the COP30 Japan Pavilion
The Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(COP) is a global platform that brings together leaders from governments, municipalities, NGOs, and corporations, attracting worldwide attention. The Japan Pavilion is established to showcase outstanding technologies, products, and services that contribute to global decarbonization and climate change adaptation, with the objective of promoting Japan’s long-term climate goal of achieving net zero by 2050. We regard our participation as playing an important role in this initiative.
The radiative cooling material SPACECOOL, developed and marketed by our company, is a new material that contributes to the realization of carbon neutrality by enabling zero-energy cooling through the release of heat into outer space. This exhibition follows our participation in the Japan Pavilion with on-site displays at COP27 and COP28, and a virtual showcase at COP29.
