SPACECOOL INC. attended PaRaMetriC Stakeholder Meeting as a leading company promoting the radiative cooling business.

SPACECOOL INC.(SPACECOOL) was the only company to be invited to PaRaMetriC(*1) Stake holder Meeting as a company promoting the radiative cooling business. At the meeting, SPACECOOL gave a presentation on our possibilities and future prospects of radiative cooling materials and exchanged opinions with PaRaMetriC.

In recent years, radiative cooling materials are emerging as a promising solution for reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in various application fields including building cooling, refrigeration and thermal management. However, due to the lack of standards and validated methods for measuring their cooling performance, international evaluation standards must be created.

PaRaMetriC, which consists of nine national measurement laboratories, two universities, three national research institutes, two companies and one committee across eight European countries, is the party aiming at standardizing the methods to evaluate radiative cooling materials. The radiative cooling material “SPACECOOL” was selected as the candidate for the standard material because of its high durability and productivity. Hence, PaRaMetriC and SPACECOOL have been collaborating to standardize it since last year. Due to this background, SPACECOOL was invited to PaRaMetriC Stakeholder Meeting, and gave a presentation on our possibilities and future prospects of radiative cooling materials and exchanged opinions with PaRaMetriC.

SPACECOOL will aim to spread the use of a radiative cooling material “SPACECOOL” and work on solving heat issues around the world.
