The COOL Distribution Board that we have jointly developed with Takenaka Corporation and Seiritsu Industry Co., Ltd. has been adopted for use at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Kadoma/Mitsui Outlet Park Osaka Kadoma, which is scheduled to open on April 17th, 2023.*

The Cool Distribution Board is a heat protective outdoor distribution board with the SPACECOOL® material affixed as a film to the surface of the distribution board. This suppresses the temperature rise inside the board, which can extend the service life of electronic devices and save energy by reducing power consumption by air conditioners for cooling purposes.

A distribution board is a device that distributes power to various circuits while serving as a safety device for the safe use of electricity by containing a ground-fault circuit breaker and other components.
Electronic devices contained in distribution boards are sensitive to heat, and high temperatures inside the board can affect their functionality and service life. For this reason, conventional outdoor distribution boards have adopted measures such as the installation of cooling equipment within the board to cool down the board and prevent the temperature inside the board from rising above a certain level.

The COOL Distribution Board is a distribution board that suppresses the temperature rise inside the board by utilizing the radiative cooling material SPACECOOL®. Verification testing has proven that the temperature inside the board is reduced by up to around 10°C as compared to conventional distribution boards. This product contributes to the creation of a sustainable society by extending the service life of distribution boards while reducing power consumption.

Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Kadoma/Mitsui Outlet Park Osaka Kadoma is Mitsui Fudosan’s first commercial complex that integrates two different business types, and it is scheduled to open on April 17th, 2023.

This facility is located near the major highways National Route 163 and the Osaka Central Circular Route and in close proximity to the Kadoma IC along the Kinki Expressway. Moreover, the facility is an 8-minute walk from Kadomashi Station on the Keihan Main Line and the Osaka Monorail, providing excellent access from central and more remote areas.
Visitors can enjoy this one-stop facility for both everyday shopping experiences such as fashion and dining as well as special shopping experiences such as shopping for branded goods.

The facility will also promote efforts to reduce environmental impact by installing COOL Distribution Boards to extend the service life of its equipment.*
